Straight cutters form a square or rectangular profile for a variety of applications. With edge relief on both top and bottom of the carbide tip, they can rabbet face up or face down, hog out grooves, or joint edges. With a rub collar matched to its outside diameter, a straight cutter can be used for flush cutting or template shaping.
